Vapor production drop off
« on: June 28, 2010, 10:02:42 AM »

its a real bum when the vapor starts going down and you dont get a satisfying draw, and it happens slowly so you dont really notice it at first.
in the morning when you want a really good hit, your attys are only at half efficency.
well i have tried everything to clean them out including acid,  but the only thing that works for me is the burn off technique,  they vape like a demon after that.
even attys i thought were beyond help, i have bought back to full vapor production  by burning off.

My Zenith (510) atty from e-cigs which was delivered on the 10/04/2010 is still going strong, in fact I'm using it as I type this post. I haven't noticed any change in it's performance but I do have 5 spares standing by.

I'm using a 901 atty I bought over a year ago. Started with it for about a month, been back on it for around 2 months, still going strong, touch wood, where's Billys head (on your shoulders), lol.

I keep firing up new atties thinking the performance has gone on existing ones. I keep proving to myself the old one's ain't done yet, then give them a blast on my no battery passthru'

One of my early 801's died due to abandonment [I reckon] as I put it in the box when a BE112 arrived. It was dead dead so the difference in vapour production was noticed straight away. Brian.

I remember Moog saying his were buggered after he left them for a while still with juice in them, I dug all mine out and stuck them in a cup with hot water for a while and now give any I put away a good rinse beforehand.

A useful tip Diane / Moog. I think I'll do the same.

Has anyone ever experienced the occasional spark coming from their atomiser? I have a low resistance 510 on a freshly charged Riva and its done this a couple of times now. Still works - am just upping the dripping frequency and hoping my lips don't get a kickback. Brian.

I noticed the other day some I had left for a while, went to use them and they fell to bits.....looks like they got eaten away....LOL
Fortunately they were just some old evo atomisers....

I've heard a bit of a crack from some of my attys before but not seen a spark, makes me jump.

Moog it happened again, I remember it was ages ago that happened to you, must be the juice then, mine are ok if they're stored away all clean.

Howwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwl, lol

Any that I neglect even if I clean them first die

Maybe its the juice we use - we are both coffee fans so maybe thats the culprit?

Im currently vaping either ENJ Caramel Latte or ENJ Blackcurrant Licorice
