Title: Dripping atty
Post by: Gazrick on July 19, 2013, 10:45:36 PM
What's the best dripping attys out there?
Iv got a few cheap ones, and absolutely love the vape. If anyone can suggest some nice ones would appreciate it 😊

I have been thinking exactly the same thing recently, what do you have already?

There must be something out there that'll give the same flavour as a kayfun :)

You know of any others?

No :P that's why I was asking. I think something with a small chamber must be good, found lots of Pilipino vids of guys using tiny drippers at very low ohms for extreme vapour production. They must also be good for flavour at a 'normal' resistance :)

Yeah defo. I just ordered a ebarron pro from www.houseofmods.co.uk it's made for the provari but will look good on anything. Scott's got a review on it too. 😊

I have some cheap 306's with plastic shells that are pants - I'm sure a decent one is great but I was thinking rebuildable :)

Apologies for hijacking your thread :o

I like the nimbus, but love the little cyclone more [especially with the afc]. I guess because the airflow is adjustable. No drilling required for big clouds.  A high end dripper that's awesome is the mini Kayfun v2.1 in dripper mode. My two cents hehe.

Fasttech do a big selection of rebuildables dripping atties....the YK1 KTS is a nice vape...it's dinky though...I'm going to probably end up with their whole selection of dripping atties by the time I've finished lol...

Yes, it's nice a solid, you have the choice of dual coils or just the one....the screws are very tiny and you'll need a tiny screw driver to use on them....I got a precision screw driver set from eBay for about £2 which has a nice selection of dinky sizes... I wash the droppers  first and rebuild the coils...otherwise they taste a bit funky  ;D

I'm hoping for more success with this one.

Have tried a cheap bulli clone and a genesis style without much joy  :(

I have one of those and they are very good, I'm thinking of drilling another hole on the opposite side so I can put one coil on either side with more air flow. The other dipper I have is a Chinese copy of the forge, dual coil with adjustable air hole and that one is also really good :D

I've read a few comments about drilling an extra hole. Based on my lack of success to date, if it works OK with one hole I'll stick with that, then maybe order a second to play with. They do supply a 3 hole version but I thought that might be too airy.

Anyone got the killer rebuildable? Looks good that it can go in a tank too!?

Just worked out I need no resistance wire for the ebarron pro lol. I'm a tad confused of how this works if anyone can help? It's not arrived yet so got a while to learn. So only the coil should be resistance wire? And I just twist the non res to it and put that through the holes?

Just watched pbusardos review of this on YouTube, he uses only resistance wire and it works just fine. Is there need for no res?
