Title: Coffee cream, any suggestions?
Post by: wildarmtins on July 30, 2012, 12:05:24 PM
So here's the lay of the land. I hate coffee. I LOVE coffee sweets (ice cream, fondants, etc). Every diy flavouring I get tastes like actual coffee, not coffee sweets. I bought a premixed juice from a retailer that tasted just like the coffee sweets you used to get in packets of Roses, so I know it exists, but I'll be damned if I can find any coffee sweet flavouring! Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Tried it, didn't work. There HAS to be an actual coffee cream flavour somewhere??

If you are determined to find the flavour you want I think your only choice is to mix up similar flavours on a trial and error basis.

If I was in your shoes I would get hold of these flavours -

Coffee
Tiramasu

Irish Coffee

Vanilla Ice and Premier Very Vanilla

And also try a VG / PG mix.

Prepare 5ml of each flavour (leaving out the expensive nicotine base until you have it sorted), then mix and match, keeping track of what you have done. With a bit of luck you will get there.

Good luck.

Cheers for the help guys. I think the flavour I'm after is just straight up dekang coffee, though no where seems to sell it! I'll try the mix and match malarky and the kahlua :-P

Just a thought, have you tried LF's Cappuccino? I remember that being a little like the coffee revels to me. They also do 5ml sample bottles.

Edit. Not a concentrate but maybe up your street and readily available.  ;)
