Title: Hello from the Great White North
Post by: Snaggletooth75 on August 08, 2017, 01:26:52 PM
Hi I am new to this forum. I used to be a 30 year, 2 pack a day smoker. I quit smoking on October 7, 2012, this coming October 7th will be my 5 year vaping anniversary and 5 year anniversary of quitting smoking. I had very severe sleep apnea from being a heavy smoker. I know this because 2 years after I quit smoking my doctor sent me for a sleep study to see how bad my sleep apnea was. One week later I went to see my doctor for the results of my sleep study. My doctor was floored to see that my sleep apnea was gone because I quit smoking. Thankfully my doctor supports me vaping as it literally saved my life. ;D

Hi Capt12B &nosmo. How long have you two been vaping for? What inspired you to start vaping?

4/01/09 was the day I made the change. As a medic I new what my 2 pack a day habit was doing for me and the idea there was an alternative that allowed me to still enjoy my vice (-) actual smoke drew me in, the addiction switched from nicotine to mods and tinkering with components keeps me hooked lol

Switched to vaping in July 2010, I knew smoking was killing me and e-cigs made quiting so easy.
