Title: Moon NGP + Tank crackers. A solution?
Post by: iStormUK on February 03, 2015, 06:27:23 PM
I've recently switched liquids, to that from a shop near me who does this really nice selection called Witchcraft.

Alas, it turns out to be hazardous to the health of my crummy polycarb tank, and blow me if I can't find a solution to it.

I am told stainless steel and borosillicate glass are the options (Pyrex btw) but I reallly don't want the bulk of a tank, sat on top some flimsy 510 connection, so I'm curious..

Does anyone know of a pyrex glass that fits, or a steel tank that could slip in its place. Seeing the liquid doesn't bother me, never did, I know a full tank lasts all day and then some (Though I admit, filling it would be more interesting if totally opaque), but I'm too much in love with it's simple design and mechanics to part with it. :)

there is certainly a place where they make glass tubes to measure ... though the name of them has escaped me at the moment ...

another option which could be less of a burden on the pocket, might to look at the glass tubes/tank sections available at fasttech - chances are they'll have one which shares its measurements with that you require, and probably for just a couple of quid ...

Those prices look pretty good, even with International shipping.
