Will a kanger subtank work with my provari?
« on: April 25, 2015, 10:57:51 PM »

hi there, hope I'm posting in the correct place on the forum....

Bit of a vape dinosaur here, I'm still struggling along with Boge cartomizers on my Provari.

I think it's about time I stepped up and got myself a better device to sit up top.

Read many good things about the Kanger Sub Tank but am not sure if it will work with my Provari, (maybe I need a different mod?)

Any advice appreciated, or any recommendations for a good (rebuildable) atomizer that I can use to replace these damn cartos

Thanks so much if anyone can help  :)

if you intend on using the subtank with subohm heads, then its not likely to work with either a revision 1 provari or even anything up to to a version 2.5 and i think even the new provari P3 would fail to work with a subtank in its intended form.

you may though be able to use higher resistance heads, or use the subtanks RBA section to instead build a coil that is compatible with the limitations of a provari.

realistically, the best advice would be to get a newer mod as there have been many advancements since the once excellent provari reined supreme.

+1

I have used the subtank with the standard kanger dual coil heads (about 1.8 ohms) and also the RBA section at about 2.2ohms and these work well.
