one UKVendor from a forum elsewhere reckons:

Restricting the sale of larger tanks and stronger nicotine strengths will only lead to people attempting to source their products from outside of the EU and bypassing safety checks.” Says e-cig vendor Jonathan Terrington . “These Eliquids and clearomisers will lack any type of regulation, potentially leading to an Ecig black market of unsafe and unregulated products which will also be accessible to Children

didn't take long - think of the children and unregulated product from outside of Europe - ::)

Not quite Andy - the vote of yesterday was just the continuation of a full gone conclusion by the EU to incorporate regulation over ecigs,  similar to how they have over fags.

They create a consensus and then give it to individual countries to implement. The situation as it stands means we are likely to be vaping long into the future but with lesser options than were.

limit on pre-mixed juice in terms size and strength.
limited sale opportunities.

plus:

a halt to those ever increasing vendor ads every time a member posts on that one particular forum.

What are the full details that have been brought in for ecigs?
Any links to the details? Sorry I have been away and obviously missed much.  :'(
Thanks, Reb  :(

i don't think the directive is finalised as complete - basics are that there'll be no cross border EU sales, no advertising, 10ml bottle limit, 20mg strength limit, 2ml tank limit.

products above those levels will become medicinal products and require MA licencing.

member states will implement according to their individual interpretation - current vapers may probably be less effected than potential future vapers.

Thanks for the link and the info.
What does 'no cross border EU sales' mean?
Thanks, Reb  :-X
