So anyway... with the vote having taken place does anyone know of any 'when' implementation might take place?

This year or no?

dont know if anyone's read this but pharma looks like the still got there fingers in  might not be nothing but worth a read

of course 'Pharma' still have their fingers in - every drop of EU sourced nicotine is 'Pharma Grade' which means they have never yet turned off the nicotine tap which they control.

we as individuals involved in group buys as well those in the e-liquid business have bought direct from Pharmaceutical licensed companies.

surprising they didn't just cut all supply if as is often alledged they were intent on eradicating the e-cig and its knock-on industry.

well it depends who we decide to listen too.

one leading voice in e-cigs claims its nothing to fret about and perfectly easy to challenge legally - meanwhile her side-kick and parter tweets habitual scaremongery as if devoid of basic consensus.

what are they - and - how do they relate ?
to me reading some of those memos, parma and the kind are rattled that ecig sales are outdoing/are now outselling their NRTs

looks to me these memos where sent regarding how pharma sits in this whole tpd gig

(im not the person to be analyzing these as i dont know the whole story)tbh dont know  where im going with this  but reading the memos might give more of a idea of how things might will pan out and give a deeper incite  on where pharma sits in this whole thing rather than relying  on reports funded by vendors , there be something in there that will clarify things and might (expose might not be the word to use) the background workings of the TDP ;)

if it has no relevance i will take it down, if anything else its quite interesting,or put it down to me having another doilem moment  :P

pharma industry have a direct interest in the TPD - they manufacture, market and sell NRTs and such.

we can read into it as conspiracy, or we can look upon it as business sense - pharma do also have a stake under nicolites for example - the likes of e-lites were once wanting to deal with our own MHRA and every UK vendor claiming superiority, likes to emphasize their Pharma graded components - so Pharma does have a hand as do cigarette companies whom recently bought in to the e-cig industry in sizeable amount.

if we were to believe the propaganda of vendors and their sponsors, then surely the pharmaceutical companies would a). prevent easy access to nicotine as firmly in their power, and b). strive to encourage smoking being it guarenteed way to sustain custom from ongoing ill health of smokers.

TPD therefore, would not have impacted smoking as has during the past decade.
