BBC Brings Vaping to the fore
« on: January 11, 2014, 02:37:01 PM »

but will they be forgiven for not reporting on the literally tens of people making a stand.

yes, the BBCs biggest soap opera, Eastenders, has long featured e-cigarettes, not least as in their Christmas episode just gone.
June Brown as Dot Cotton, plus a host of others, have been readily vaping on TV for an amount of years.

Graham Norton featuring Lady Gaga too was always likely to pull in quite an audience whom would have also found June Brown armed with her 'safer alternative'.

so when of the projected two million vapers of the UK, literally tens, yes, tens as in virtually single figures, what chance is there for it to become mainstream news.

of course we might all congratulate the few folks whom bared the cold morning to protest at whatever they feel they need protest at while against a stream of corporate and other intervention, but it might be daft to expect the massive exposure which the BBC have given already, would ever be trumped by a few vapers sent to create breaking news.
