wicks don't generally have resistance - that would more commonly be the coil.

simply make it longer.

sorry I didn't explain myself very well yes I mean the coil not the wick, I will try to put 4 or 5 winds next time I make a new wick, should I try to get the coils as close together as possible? I thought if I only made a 3 wide coil I wouldn't have too many hotspot issues so that was my logic with that, and as I said the coil works fine on other mods, but I would like it to work with the lava tube.

you'll automatically get the coils closer together due to the density of additional wraps - try space them evenly.

On devices like a LT I typically find you need a 4/3 wrap of 32g or a 5/4 wrap of 28g to get over the 1.3 ohms needed to allow the VV/VW device to fire. I try to space my wraps evenly - the real close wraps are more like a micro coil set up.  I do find the the LT will fire low ohm coils better than my provari or zmax.  If your having trouble getting things set up maybe start off with a mechanical mod to get the coils cooked in and happily glowing and then move the atty over to the LT ;)

probably best off just keeping other atties with the lavatube and the genny with the stuff it likes to work with.

yeah your coil is shorting out on the mesh, pull the mesh out and you will have an even glowing coil on the LT.....pulse it on the mod it works on till you get ALL the coils glowing evenly and then stick it back on the LT.

take a piece of the 0.20 kanthal wire and measure 4cm - cut it slightly longer so as to have a bit to mess with.

join it to the two normal anchor points of genny with no wick at all.

make one large loop out of the wire making sure it doesn't contact anything but two the ends.

if that will then glow/work while attached to and fired by the lavatube, then it shows the lavatube to be without fault.

that would mean its an build problem of the atty, probably brought about by a short amid the coil and wick.

i'll wager that ALL your coils are not glowing evenly, i bet just the top ones are, and i'll also wager the back of your throat has no skin left on it..lol

lol honestly the coil  glows evenly on my other devices, I tested it on my lea and bombshell and riva 510 it works fine taste is very good, why would it work on my other devices? Except the LT? Really interested now before it was just pissing me off, I really want to fix it now.
