Hi mate,

In short, I got kinda shafted with that app and have no control or access to it whatsoever :(

I paid a guy to build me the app thinking that he was a genuine app developer but it turns out that he just used a free template that any Tom, Dick or Harry can get from various app building websites. As a result it basically has a limit which prevents access after x amount of downloads and from that point onwards it gets covered in adverts etc

Would love to be able to update it or delete it and pay a proper developer to make a new one, but without any access to it I'm kinda stuck unfortunately :(

@Ric - The app is only available for android

Looks great Scott!

The number of likes for Facebook aren't showing up for me tho (using Chrome on Mac). Also wondered why you don't rank your discount codes - Jac and Mirage (10 and 20%) rank higher than Apollo (25%)?

Love the "Established 2008"   ;D

hi mate,

"The number of likes for Facebook aren't showing up for me tho (using Chrome on Mac)"

can you elaborate on this please? I've just tested on a Mac using Chrome and all Facebook likes appear just fine for me.......are you referring to the Facebook likes on the review pages or the Facebook page like bar at the very bottom of each page?

cheers

scott

Hi Scott

It was the likes up at the top right hand side of the page where you have the number of Youtube subscribers and Twitter followers. Where the likes for facebook would be was just blank. I'm looking at it now in Chrome at work on a windows machine (windows 7) and it's fine tho

My Mac at home is running snow leopard but I can't remember what version of chrome it is. I'll have another look this evening mate, it could have just been because I'd only just got up and wasn't concentrating

Yep it's still not showing for me - just the facebook one the others are OK - this is what I get in the picture attached. Chrome version is 32.0.1700.77 and on Snow Leopard. I use an adblocker but it's not running on ecr. I've just cleared Chrome's cache and history and everything and it's still blank. I can see it fine though on everything else, including an old MacBook running chrome

Just checked it using Safari on the same computer and it's blank there too! I know I don't like Facebook but that's weird lol

hi mate,

i can't really offer you an explanation as to why its not appearing on your Mac, but I'm gonna guess its something blocking it at your end rather than an issue with the website? maybe its time to update that old Snow Leopard? lol :D

how come you have not updated the OS? the latest OS is free if i recall correctly?

I think you're probably right on it being this end Scott. WOuldn't surprise me at all - I've got that many things going on on this comp I've forgotten about most of them

Yeah you're right on the upgrade too. Mavericks is free but I've not gone there for two reasons (1) I've only got 2gb of RAM on this machine and from what I've read you're better with at least 4 for Mavericks, and (2) I've got all kinds of software going on that I wouldn't want to risk by upgrading and then needing to try sort the software out...

She's an old baby this imac (2007) so one day I'll get another all being well lol

The site looks great by the way, nice one  :D
