Kayfun lite plus
« on: November 12, 2013, 12:21:39 PM »

Hi all got my KFL this morning, set it up with cotton and using red Astaire. I done I micro coil of 10 wraps of 28 gauge came out at 1.3 ohms.

Problem I'm having is it's giving me a burnt taste after a drag or two. I made sure the channels weren't blocked just the tip of the cotton is in the well then I screwed on the chimney. Any ideas? Sorry if this is confusing.. Lol.
Thanks.

and - you may be choking your wick by having the coil too tight

i have my positive post tight - mine is a version though, but it needs to be tight so to prevent the inner terminal moving, thus creating problems inside the atty.

Very nice indeed :D

I found if it's not wicking well you can take some hard dry sucks to persuade the juice into the chamber. Also tightening up the draw also has the same effect as you suck harder to get a draw ;) (well thats on my 3.1 - i'm guessing the light+ will be the same)

Thanks for the advice. I'm guessing I blocked it with cotton before as it went so dry I fried the wick lol.. It seems fine now been going strong all afternoon. Don't think I'll need anything else. 😁 flavour is really good too.

OK I have just setup my new kayfun plus using ecowool 3mm. I had the air hole open to its full setting, put juice in and I was getting a gurggle so I blew slightly and half the tank came out of the air hole. I closed the air hole up a bit and it still gurgles. I redid the coil and wick with 2mm wick, this in turn had less wick in the chamber. I am now not losing the juice unless I blow as i'm still getting the gurgle. Is this normal for the Kayfun or am i doing something wrong. I am.
OO wait gurgling stopped and now burnt taste. Took it apart again unpacked the wick a little and yes gurgling back.
What is so annoying is the flavour and vape is great. I am sure i will get it sooner or later but my desk at work is covered in juice. Any of you guys that have any pointers would be great  :( :(
