Best tank/carto/attis for Vamo V3
« on: August 24, 2013, 10:09:45 AM »

Im currently using a vivi nova on my vamo, but was wondering what is the ultimate carto/tank/atti for my mod?  something that not only looks good but is the dogs b**lox when paired with the Vamo. The mod bug has officially bitten me!  Many thanks in advance.

The iclear16 clearomizers are here:--->  https://www.fasttech.com/products/1384000

if you get 5-at-a time, they get discounted to $2.64 each, delivered ( i.e. about £8.50 for all 5). Separately, they're £1.95 each ...

The iclear16 clearomizers are great - they're simply the best clearomizers, for my money.
(They are juice-hogs though - perhaps because they're dual coiled? ... dunno, but they're excellent!)

hm, I have  just re-read this thread, and your original query properly.  (Earlier, I just replied to your question on whether FT sold the i16 clearomisers.)

Your original question ("what is the ultimate carto/tank/atti for my mod" ?) can't really be answered, as I think we'll all answer it subjectively - besides, only you know what appeals to you.
(Appearance? Warm vape? Cool vape? Prefer tight or loose draw? Fiddly? Reliability? Ease-of-use? Spare parts? etc....)

However, perhaps it is useful to note some objective things, such as the vamo's 21mm width (well, my vamo is 21 mm, FT site says 22mm), so an atomiser that has same diameter might be useful, at least in terms of aesthetics.

As you already use a vivi nova (coil is closer to mouth, so a "warmer" vape is expected) and which is 18mm wide, maybe you could look at these 3, which are all Bottom-Coil designs (i.e. "cooler" vape, as coil is further away from mouth) :

BCC:
DBOX PuriTank (authentic,20mm dia): http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10005315/1425900-dbox-puritank-bottom-coil-glassomizer-3-5ml
Kanger Protank(authentic, "old" version,18.5mm dia): http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004861/1377100-kanger-protank-clearomizer-with-pyrex-glass-tank
Kanger Protank II (authentic, new version,18.5mm dia): http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004861/1429700

cartomizers:
Dual-coil http://www.fasttech.com/product/1352302
(I don't really like cartomisers, but I was sent one of these by mistake, and ... it's not too bad, really.
btw, if these appeal to you, it is better to go for the small ones as apparently now they're made of polypropylene, unlike the big ones, which are polycarbonate...)

Atomisers needing more maintenance effort (i.e. rebuildable):
Iatty (21mm dia=perfect for vamo): http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10005212/1431801
IGO-W (dripper, 20.3mm dia) http://www.fasttech.com/product/1431800

and you already are aware of one of the best clearos: the Innokin iClear  i16 ...

hope that helps... :)

I think Zarf is spot on with that. Just for the record I used to stick to iclear 16's but these days (when I'm not trying to sort out coils on my rba's) I tend to use the Kanger Protanks and the X9 (I think) clones of them - I got a bit tired of the leaks from the clearos in the end and felt a bit more comfortable with the bottom coil jobs

I have the x10 protank..it's ok but a tad airy for my liking....I'd like to get the  kanger protank ll mini at some point as I believe they have a slightly tighter draw....
