I prefer sci fi where they have three ears...  a left one, a right one, and a final front ear... :D

Donnie Darko was on telly again last night.

Excellent film, proving my earlier point about not getting involved with time travel. Music was good too.

i just watched the first series today of hyper drive http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481449/ i started watching it cause the guy from cape town said it wasnt funny on the imdb review, so it musta been british humour  ;)

the first series was quite good. its a bit out there in weird and wackyness, got some mad british humour but it also has some good old philosophy thrown in, so it gives the charactors a sence of normality while all the madness is going on, i liked it but ya tend to laugh at some things but kinda no a joke is going on and not laugh but u can see why its funny to other people.

ide rate it a 7 and worth watching wen bored lol

Tonight, Channel 5, 'Under The Dome' - (I think)

Sounds like it could be good. My daughter mentioned that it is based on a Stephen King novel  :( His stuff can be a bit longwinded, and I find myself shouting 'GET ON WITH IT!' at most of his stuff.

Anyway, we'll see.

Yeah, the first episode was good.

Looks promising.

This review -

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/tv-and-radio-reviews/10253104/Under-the-Dome-Channel-5-review.html

states that there is a second series next year. Let's hope it doesn't become another 'Lost'  ???

We just got back from seeing "Gravity" in IMAX & 3D, all I can say is WOW! 9 out of 10.  1 point off because 3D tech. isn't quite there yet, but a must see!
