Lavatube v2 & AC9
« on: May 19, 2013, 08:42:40 PM »

Evening all, 2 months new into the vaping world and brought a Lavatube v2 which has been working well with my AGA-T2. My trouble started when I purchased the AC9 with the first device only able to screw into the Lavatube about 2 turns then stop. Sent AC9 back and the vendor was able to kindly replace immediately however the new AC9 screws in about half way then again stops.

I now have to screw the connector pin on the AC9 all the way down so no spring left at all but the connector does now make a connection with the Lavatube v2.

Basically it seems the Lavatube is liked and disliked by many of you so really just trying to find out if any others out there have had this same problem as it's annoying that it's not sitting flush with a big gap between the two and what solutions you could all give to me. (And yes I know now that I should have purchased the Provari before you all suggest ;) )

take the center pin out of the ac9 completely, than screw the ac9 down on to the lavatube, than add the center pin until and screw till you feel a resistance that means you center pin is than making contact with the positive poll of lava tube

Hi all, thanks for all the suggestions and comments but I've now been able to resolve the issue. Basically the reseller was able to dig out an AC9 with good threading which has now resolved the issue. Took a while to find one which fit but happy vaping my new AC9 and very good it is as well.

Appreciate all who commented ;-)
