yes that's the correct one ... 0.20mm = 32 American Wire Guage (AWG) ;)

Cheers, I got one thing right then! I didn't think the micron thing would be a big issue so just bought the cheapest - it still said it was for vaping so it should do the job

@ ilegal....  again it's a balance, the less dense will wick better through gravitational flow if you tip your atty but the more dense will wick better through capillary action stood upright.
(in theory)

Thanks mev but I think that's where I started having problems, I couldn't work out which was the more dense! Am I right thinking the 30 microns means those are smaller gaps between the threads and so more dense than the 25? So better capillary action?

in practice, we all started out on #400 mesh ... genesis atomisers managed to become very popular on it.

Sorry, I should clarify as these comments have come over the page - I get the 400 thing, but what threw me was when the site I was on said there were different types of 400 - 25 or 30 microns. That really threw me as hadn't seen that before

30 micron means it's thicker SS used, it's still 400 so this mean more ss and smaller holes between them, which is better is debatable.

Capillary action works with the molecules attaching to the ss so in theory the more surface area of SS the better, therefore 30 micron would wick better than 25 micron in 400 mesh through capillary action.
