Asda Vanilla
« on: February 14, 2011, 03:35:09 PM »

Bought some of the Asda's Extra special Vanilla flavouring today (By the cake making ingredients) . Made a tester bottle of 3 mg. Its not too bad as it goes. Made it up at 15% and then used 5 drops of strawberry instead of water/vodka. It has a strawberry's and cream boiled sweet taste.

Funnily enough I did the same thing a couple of months ago, although I got the plain Asda Vanilla Flavouring, doesn't say 'Special', and have just ordered some flavour arts cream flavouring from Liberty Flights to see if it improves it. I mixed it 15% vanilla to 10% strawberry in boots Glycerin.

I use cartomizers mainly so wasn't to concerned about sugars in the flavourings.

I'm sure theres sugar/glucose in a lot of the flavourings and once they are diluted with pg/vg, theres probably hardly any sugar in one batch.. Yeah I hadnt seen the extra special one before...But its handy to have even if its for a background taste : )  I have just got some flavours from The flavours apprentice...Its really nice and I've been told LF are going to stock some of their flavours soon!!
