Built myself a Toddoid
« on: March 07, 2013, 04:24:26 PM »

I used my Phoenix rebuildable,  a cheap plastic driptip that I wasn't bothered about ruining, a small metal tube (I used the old metal center from my DiD that broke when I dropped it)  and 4 cubes of blue cart filler.

I have been planning to do this since I first watched Todd's vid but kept forgetting to get some filler material, took me under 10 mins from starting to vaping on it.
Made the wick and coil first used 3mm wick (think 2mm might have been better)  I  then heated the tube and pushed it into the bottom of the drip tip had to pull it out and reheat it twice to get the correct clearance from the wick and coil, (doing that was easier than cutting the tube to the correct length) shoved the cart filler around the tube filled and done!

The parts:

Filled and ready to go:

Been vaping on it all afternoon it holds about 1.5ml of eliquid and works remarkably well to say it only took a few minutes to make.  :D

The phoenix is a good little atty for the money well worth the asking price even if you do only use it for dripping in the end  :)

i went for an IGO-L for now, only 12quid at vapegear  ;) nearly went for a sigelei zmax from there too, as it's only 60quid for the full kit, but they're out of the brushed steel version. got a UDT-L 510 mod tho just to try a genny on a mechanical mod.
