The Bombshell
« on: March 02, 2013, 11:35:39 AM »

Earlier I´v been crying in the forum about a shorting Vivi Nova burning my Bombshell mod, but as I suspect my first genny will turn up early next week I really wanted it to work so I checked it with a meter and guess what?!?
It´s reading 4.25 V with a freshly charged 18650. Fired it up with another tank and it works perfectly!?!
I cant hear any rattling when shaking it but I still think something might be loose inside so I was wondering if someone know how to open it without destroying it completely???
If it fails again that is!

Cheers!

yer easy thing to do, just pop out the white plastic bit and you will see the button and wires inside. I've Done it on my bolt a few times to fix the wires

Aah.. nice! So just to fiddle it out with something pointy then? Does the center battery pole come out with it or is it attached to something inside?
No risk of breaking anything?
Are you sure its the same design as your Bolt??

Yep fiddle it out. The battery connection is soldered on to a wire that joins the switch. The bolt is just a cheap version of the bombshell.
If your gentle with it you should be fine. I used a small thin knife to get mine open
