VG
« on: February 19, 2013, 10:07:08 PM »

playing around here with my flavours and not doing to good. Is it generally considered a bad idea to use VG only ?

I know different strokes for different folks and all that twaddle but i would love to hear what ratios those mixing a while normally use and indeed if anyone opps for heavily  VG dominant mix

flavour is  ok-ish, could be a lot better though,  but i feel im getting very little  throat hit.

I use a lot of vg in my mix now. I use 20 % flavour
So thats 20% flavour (pg) 10% nic (pg) 70 % vg

interesting. Could someone enlighten me as to what creates the throat hit ?

I just vaped a fruit flavour from Hangsen , followed by the  cappucinno  i made myself, lovely throat hit on the hangsen nada with my cappuccino, both were vaped using the same type of system on the same standard ego batt
My VG had pre added water at 15% ? could that reduce throat hit, or is it the flavour, do coffee types generally not give a throat hit ?

im floundering here !

TH is effected by voltage , nicotine level, flavor characteristics (ie diablo loco has the most intense TH I have ever vaped) and how well the atty or carto are performing. VG is typically smoother than PG and therefore has less TH, and cutting VG with water shouldn't really have an effect on TH unless the non thinned VG was too thick to leach to the wick in which case you may find thick VG could potentially be harsh.

I'm another VG only vaper - love those foggy clouds!

As several FMs above have mentioned, the perceived dullness that some people complain of is easily ovecome by upping the flavouring percentage. A typical mix for me would be 38% Boots Glycerine B.P., 38% 72mg VG, 24% Flavouring...

I use 12mg RY4 VG only mix I use 24% VG nic ,41% VG from boots,20% PA RY4flavouring and 15% Vodka .My two main devices are lavatube with DiD rebuildable and Provari with Spheriod..
I use the same Nicotine mix on both devices. THe TH i get on the Spheriod is way stronger than my DID. So i switch between the two devices, depending on what sort of hit I want ..

Once I kissed my wife after vaping some Diablo Loco and soon after was the recipient of a slap.  I set her on fire
