lol ... i expect the ceramic would prove far safest out of the two, but while stainless steel mesh works so well already, i'll be stick to that, at least for the time being ... 8)

my take on ceramic:

if you make your own it takes ages and is messy ,plus you have to be very delicate or you might break it and have to start all over again,,,also when putting a coil on it you can also break it and have to start over,
once set up properly it vapes really well but as for it being loads better than mesh ,the flavour is a little cleaner and thats about it,,,,it doesnt vape  any better as regarding wicking,,and the flavour isnt a major improvement,,,,

anyways ive broke mine now whilst adjusting the coil and im not too bothered about making another as of yet,,,

if i could buy 10 of these for a quid it would probably be worth while,,and i suppose if you struggle with hotspots they would be good also,,,but i dont so im sticking with mesh untill there is an easier alternative,,,
