What about this ?

To cut the Ceramic to size I would grip it in a drill chuck or better a lathe and cut it to size with a  grinding weel dressing diamont.

Ready for some more TrippyTips innovations? Here is the first one for 2013: The All-Glass Wick. No more fibers, no more shorting out on metal. These will deliver pure vapor and flavor!

Looks like a hollow glass tube ... cannot wait to try this ... my hope for 2013 was new/clean wick material  :)

That's what I thought, however, this does away with mesh, silica or any other wicking material so, if it works ... and providing the juice is clean, it has got to be the safest material to use and it will have no effect on flavour whatsoever!

sounds excellent ... has to be one of the most promising solutions to date, assuming it does work.

Being a bit of an oaf at times I would worry about its fragility, like the ceramic wick. No alteration to the flavour though
