Quick mod battery question - when to charge
« on: March 02, 2013, 12:16:52 PM »

 :) Brain picking time....

Was wondering whats the generally accepted advice on when to recharge your mod batteries (specifically AW IMR)

I've always thought you had to fully drain, then fully charge a bat to keep it performing, but then saw this post: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/374041-safe-recharge-imr-aw-batteries-mid-drain.html  ???

Sounds like not letting drain fully is actually better? What do you guys recommend?

I cant tell what's left on my battery when using my grip, so I go by the drop  in power.....when it starts to get whimpy I take it out.....But like Cerb mentions, if you can read your battery power then taking it out before it goes under 3.2v is supposed to be 'healthier' for the battery, fully draining it can shorten its life.... I only know this coz Of the battery experts here  ;D

I always swap the one in my Roller when I notice a drop in flavour and vapour which is at around 3.6v, on my Provari's when the flashing starts to annoy me!
