I realise there is perhaps a jovial tone to your posts, however, feedback is always best directly provided to those who need it.

The issue is over the use of the video by the vendor.

A simple and effective "I'm not sure after viewing the video if I feel confident in buying the product, could you produce a clearer video with proper instruction so I may consider whether it's right for me" would be a more constructive way to get the point accross.

i agree ... ;D although with that said i did get the general gist of the atty and thought the quality of presentation above average in comparison to some others out there.

Yes, you're right, and considering many of their customers will be unable to successfully wind a wire around their cat's tails, never mind investigate hot spots, or be proficient at micro-surgery, or comprehend resistances, and and their effects, it's just not clear enough, to put it mildly, as I always do::)

I'll let them know on YT. :)

I hope by providing the point to them they choose to brush up the video a little, there's never any harm in asking for a bit of clarity :)

I just watched all four of these and couldn't help thinking how much more of a favour they could have done themselves by letting Scott do a decent one of it, with a good camera. It was a mess and as organised as the last bus timetable that was in the film - 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.'  ???

hi mate,

I've just purchased one of those so will no doubt record a review / tutorial at some stage soon :)

cheers

could it be that vendors are recognising the advertising potential of bizarre you-tube videos whether they are notable by their lack of quality or their strange content..ie TW's spoof of the M6 incident...personally, I prefer a good  HD, in depth review with perfect focus and lighting with 'palm'-free close ups..... the LF/phoenix vid certainly had consternation factor, I sneakily suspect that they knew exactly what they were doing....

producers of indivisual items/products are concerned primarily with their own aspect or product and in cases where they themselves release a video to compliment the launch of said product, we might expect their engineering or marketing skills to be greater than their video presentations ... of course Scott is a professional reviewer and product photographer and therefore better at producing a quality presentation.

i dont think Mike From Eshots, would have expected his best shot might provoke external criticimn ...

might order a pheonix tomorrow. just seen a video on a different way to make a wick. just wondering if anyone has tried this way yet. the method he uses is near the start of the video so you don't have to worry about not understand what's he's saying.
