Your favourite rebuildable so far and why?
« on: July 21, 2012, 11:04:32 AM »

Quite a few people have had various different rebuildables now so, which is your favourite and why?

So picking just one...

For me, the Penelope, simple, easy to re-wire and ligher than the Oddy.

Its still the Bulli for me...........Easy to rewire and a choice of size. I know both sizes are still on the small size, but for me they are ideal.  ;D

But saying that I'm going to be trying a DID soon, so I might be back!

Penelope.
Easy to build, no mess, no fuss, minimal faff for great performance, looks good (looks good on bigger mods but small enough to look good on an eGo Twist).

The Penelope edges it over the Ody I think with the DID a close third

Kayfun tanks from Svoemesto;tried several type (and still own them) but that thing never gurgles, never becomes hot anywhere and has air (draw) adjustability...on my 2nd refill and still flawless...good vapor, good flavor, good everything all around.

Its a wick and coil offering though, not genesis.

im with fiona on this the bulli wins hands down it appears to be fail safe from the first coil i made and use it all the time. i got a DID and although i love the looks and size and still use it i don't get the same experience out of it. i get good(ish) vapour, throat hit and flavour ect but all my juices seem 'thin' it nowhere near as easy and reliable as my bully IMHO.

Patriot Mega with tank for me. It beats the bulli clearly and its easy to rewire. No worries about breaking the connector as the base is in one piece. The airhole underneath the coil is a clear advantage and there is no wire soldered inside the base. And it cost only 30€.

I have a DID, NGP, Ody, Ody DD mode, and vivi.

I have to say  without a doubt that the DID rules !  The DID beats the NGP only bec the NGP runs at 3.7v which requires a new setup to break in a bit as 3.7v is typically a high v I find for the  genesis style setups. I love both odyseuses I have and they perform great but require rebuilding every 3 days of use. The vivi is a work horse an great for using in places you don't want risk taking a high end device.

I can't see ever going back to premade setup !

I own 3  proper rebuildable’s DiD, Bulli, Penelope  and a Vivi Nova, not a fan of the Vivi I just can’t get it to perform well had 3 or 4 attempts at it and while it has worked fine, I find the vape a bit lacking compared to the others.
This is a tough one to decide as I like all of them for different reasons.

Going to put the Bulli in 3rd because I always seem to have niggles with it  and have to strip it down to adjust something, guess that is my own fault with the way I have it set up but it isn’t anywhere near as a good a vape with a standard set up. But saying that when it is performing it is a very good.

Joint first Penelope and DiD, love the small size of the Penelope love the way it built and  performs, the fact you can adjust the flow control, it’s more of a instant vape that you can take a quick hard drag making it ideal for when driving or doing something where you might be in a rush to finish your drag, this is the device I reach for first when going out plus it looks ace on my Provari in mini mode, dislike the fact it is difficult to get the draw exactly the same after every rebuild and it seems to burn thru liquid really quickly.

I prefer the DiD when sat at home taking a long gentle drag the flavour is insanely good and edges out the Penelope on that front so this is my device of choice while watching TV etc, however only had the Penelope  less than a week so that might change yet.
