anybody dismantled an imist yet?
« on: June 21, 2012, 12:00:49 PM »

title says it all......I had one die on me, so I had a go - bashed it up a bit before discovering it can be all pushed out from underneath.
then further separated ie, the ceramic cone from the steel inner. Doesn´t look like it would be easy to repair tho.

I've bashed one up thinking I would have a go at repairing it, then shortly after it went in the bin :)
With abit more patience though i think it would be possible to do but for what they cost to buy I'm not sure the patience is worth it :)

Had mine over a month now and I cant seem to wreck the atty on it at all

I dont like the tank system but I knew I wouldnt before getting but as a direct dripper its fantastic

As the base section comes in at just shade over £6 its as good a bargain as there is, IMO  :D
