connectors are normally available at Liberty-Flights ...
the overall principle is simple and only requires a switched positive circut ... i'll see if i can find some instructions toward the wiring aspect ...

here is a simple wiring option as presented by Garry Dibley:

the touchwood employs a very similar principle where its negative is permanent and positive on momentary switched ... the positive carries round through its bottom brass plate and is switched to create a circuit ...
so while depressing the top button, it meets the heavy brass screw securing the bottom in situ, and thus continues a circuit.

think i will have to try and find some sort of digram lol

so from what you are saying there is vary little wirering in a touch wood style device ?

going to have a look for the batterie the touch wood mini takes now , think that would be a good starting point , as the body can be made to suite then

I think ebay is a good place to get some of your bits and bobs. And Maplins? Do they do this kind of stuff you need?.........

there is very little wiring in many e-cigs ... wooden construction causes need for continuity that would be coincidental from a usual metalic body mod.

CPC, Farnell, Maplin, Ebay, all carry the "momentary" or "push to make" switches but an e-cig vendor is probarbly best source for full e-cig connectors such as 510 sockets.

for some reason i did not think it would be so simple as that lol

so the negative end of the batterie would be wired to the atomizer connection , then to a switch , and the long screw thro and bottom plate make up the last of the wiring or connections ?

my confidence is building lol

looking at the links, i'd go with the first one i.e item number 270875259239 ... i believe that one is perfect for this application.

re: "so the negative end of the batterie would be wired to the atomizer connection , then to a switch , and the long screw thro and bottom plate make up the last of the wiring or connections ?"

the negative is in permanant contact with the atomizer connection and the live or positive, intermittent as switched.

thanks for that , think i may ordering the bits and bobs and give it a go .

think im gona have a go at some thing similar to the touch wood mini but maybe without the top and bottom plate , think they would be the bit that would cause the most problems finding cutting and trying to get a good finish on the metal so may leave that out for the first try

also fancy trying my hand at a pipe lol
