building one now!
I emailed Jim about the hole size....it´s 1.2mm apparently - but he intends making tops with 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5mm holes!
I experimented with sellotape and cover 50% of the hole - much stronger flavour..... :D

Nice I will have to buy myself a clipper :) I’m currently using a bit of tape inside the cap covering about 1/3 of the hole, which to be fair hasn’t moved at all since I put it in there a month or so ago, but know I will forget about it and will knock it off one of these days while wiping out the cap and would like a better long term solution

I didn’t realise this was on a DiD at first look - due to the sexy tank! Really does improve the looks.

You're a star mate. The apparent airy draw of the DID was worrying me a little so your fix is much appreciated. ta :)

sorry to hear this fix has landed unfortunately late for use with your Zap bob ... i use one of these in my own Zap, and it does do perfect job.

so far this ring idea has helped with the DiD, Zap, AGA-T and most recently the RSST (which i initially over drilled by slipping with a 2mm drill bit)

Very impressed by the idea, video, and the quality/polished look of the GED ring, I will have to give it a go ;D
