As I said I almost failed when making my firts wire. I did broke mine also, but all I had to do was twist it together and make sure it did not contact the ceramic just incase.

Edit: and don't worry as scott said in his video it is really easy and you just need to get the hang of it.

@ Emmette ... if you do happen to snap/break the duo wire, you can still join the no resistance pieces to kanthal as in the Oddy tutorial ...

even if all does go well, keep the cut-offs from the no-res wire ... they'll work for your second coil too ...

love it kicks like a mule. only problem is it dont like to fire on my bolt played with the + post and it wont have it it works on all  my other mods but not the bolt unless i use a adapter thing apart from that its the dogs. oh hang on its me all i needed to do was really screw it down i was being to kind to it ^^ oh my days its really hitting now yay im in love

Mines all made up but.....The metasl ring that is supposed to tighten to keep the positive wire in place only screws in to a certain point. It wont screw up tight..Leaving a gap...I have it working though.  The positive wire is wrapped round and tucked in between that slight gap.

it seems a lot of people have experienced that fiona.......i managed to close the gap a little by tightening it as much as i could, then undoing, then tightening, then undoing etc etc and it now closes enough to trap it securely

can you take the nut off,
turn it round, (unside down)- the nut that is
and then thread back on.
