burnt ashtray needed
« on: June 27, 2011, 01:01:55 PM »

Anyone know of a tobacco flavor concentrate that will give me that "burnt ashtray taste"?
I know it's nasty, I just want to add a little "realism" to some of my tobacco mixes.

LF carries Perfumers Apprentice which offer tobacco absolute and essence which are very strong and authentic and allow you to mix up or add to your mixes. I have some but have not used it much. ;)

Or you can try adding a drop or 2 of the Oak  flavourArts from Liberty Flights...might even be nice with the one Capt mentioned  ;D

The Oak gives a smoky taste........

Thanks Capt., I use PA's tobacco absolute, good stuff!  But I'm talking "skank" analog taste. Which gave me the idea of seeing if the Middle-Easterner, who owns a "hooka bar" and restaurant to load his hooka with grain alcohol and let me capture some of that flavor. LOL.

and thanks Fiona, Oak flavor sounds interesting i'll have to try that one. Oh by the way, I made a juice with that pandan flavoring using Caramel, not bad. It gives the smell of RY4, but still lacking some where.

Where did you get the Pandan Sammy?
What I have is from Caravelle, I got it at an oriental market, but it's an artificial flavoring with dyes, you might find a purer flavoring where you live. I still think that's what Ruyan  uses in it's RY4.

Heres an interesting artical on the pandan plant....And because theres a list of its different names you might find a pure essence but in a different name  ;D
